Effect of successful parathyroidectomy on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism.
OBJECTIVE: The pathogenesis of hypertension in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is unclear, and the prevailing opinion is that parathyroidectomy does not affect the blood pressure (BP).
