From the autumn, the University will have to pay VAT on income from employees’ semester parking permits, since the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) has taken a new position on employers offering parking spaces to their employees. Lund University has been ranked 85th in the world in the QS World University rankings, making it the top ranked comprehensive university in Sweden.
