Teaterhögskolan i Malmö har 2019 utsett den internationellt framstående schweiziske regissören Milo Rau till ny hedersdoktor vid Konstnärliga fakulteten, Lunds Universitet. En högtidlig ceremoni ägde rum i Lunds domkyrka den 24 maj, 2019. Skådespelaren Petra Fransson disputerade i februari 2018 vid Teaterhögskolan i Malmö med avhandlingen Omförhandlingar.
