Träningsprogram för lungceller

Vid sjukdomen KOL går väggarna i lungornas lungblåsor sönder på ett sätt som gör att det blir svårt att syresätta sig. I ett forskningssamarbete lett från Lunds universitet undersöks nu hur fysisk träning påverkar lungorna vid KOL, och man tittar ända ner på molekylnivå. Deltagare om studien

I skrivande stund har ett 50-tal deltagare inkluderats och genomfört träningsprogrammet som ingår i T-REX studien. Majoriteten av våra deltagare är mycket ambitiösa och positivt inställda. Kritiken som studien har fått hittills är ”varför finns det inte en uppföljning, så att vi kan få fortsätta att träna?”.
