Dominik Maschek

Dominik Maschek joins us from the Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie in Mainz, where he is professor of Roman Archaeology.  Dominik has a long track record of combining different branches of archaeology and history to explore areas and groups beyond Rome and its elites, such as frontier communities. In Lund, he will present the results of his conflict archaeology project at Fregellae in Italy.
