Flera kritiska synpunkter på språk och stil ges, och placeringen av syndabekännelsen i gudstjänstens inledning liksom placeringen av förbönen mellan predikan och nattvard kritiseras, detta med utgångspunkt från hermeneutiska insikter, och från dramaturgisk analys.
