Studien syftar till att undersöka musiklärares förhållningssätt till extra anpassningar och vilka metoder de använder för att göra undervisningen begriplig för alla elever. Arbetet syftar även till att ta reda på om de intervjuade musiklärarna i studien upplever att de får den hjälp de behöver i sitt arbete med extra anpassningar och särskilt stöd.
