Sedan min disputation på en avhandling om hellenistiska drottning Arsinoë II's krona (ikonografisk studie) vid Göteborgs Universitet 2010 koncentreras min forskning på det relativt nya forskningsämnet "pseudo-skrift" och framför allt grekisk-romerska stenbrottsmärken i egyptiska Gebel el Silsila.
Sedan hösten 2012 är jag projektanställd vid LU genom Vetenskapsrådet, inledningsvis med en post doktorstjänst, följt av ett Marie Curie fellowship.
Sedan 2012 leder jag det pågående arkeologiska arbetet i egyptiska Gebel el Silsila: The Gebel el Silsila Project, med en rad banbrytande upptäckter.
