Serafina Cuomo
Serafina Cuomo is professor of Greek Culture at the Faculty of Classics at Cambridge University. She is an expert on the history of science and technology in the ancient world, with a particular interest in the social, cultural, and economic significance of knowledge practices. In this talk, she explores how numeracy was practised by people who were socially and economically disadvantaged.
