KNUT

Welcome to the archaeological student association KNUT!

We are a non-profit association by and for new and former students at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History at Lund University. KNUT is said to have been founded in 1986, although new findings suggest that the association may be even older. Since then, KNUT has served both educational purposes and as a social network for students with an interest in history and archaeology.

Every term, KNUT organises several different types of events, such as KNUTpub, excursions, game nights and lectures. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, KNUT is a place where you can learn from and develop together with others. Joining KNUT is a great way to get to know other aspiring archaeologists and students with an interest in history. Our student association mainly brings together students studying at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, but anyone with an interest in history is welcome to become a member!
 

To become a member, you need to fill in the form on our website. A link to the website can be found below. Membership costs 75 SEK per term, and you can join at any time during the term. As a member of KNUT, you get access to a range of benefits. You can take part in our events, receive exclusive discounts on our merchandise and access our common room A017. There, you can meet other students, use facilities such as the microwave, and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea. You are very welcome to join us!
