Information for students at the HT faculties

Find your course by selecting a subject in the list

Admitted after the course has started?

Find your schedule and go to the next class. You cannot register to the course by yourself, so please ask your administrator to do this. Your student account is created when you are admitted, and an email is sent to you asking you to activate it. It may take a few days after your admission notification before your student account is created. As soon as you have activated your student account and registered for the course, you can see the information in Canvas.

You must be active on the course to retain your place

It is important to us that our participant lists in Ladok are accurate and only include active students on our courses and programmes. If you do not intend to take up your place, we can offer it to students on the waiting list who wish to take the course. If you enrolled but do not show any activity on the course during the first two weeks, you risk being removed from the course.

Are you no longer able or willing to take a course to which you have been admitted?

If you will not be taking the course, it is important that you withdraw as soon as possible, so that the place can be offered to a student on the waiting list. You can withdraw via your account on Antagning.se.

If you have already registered, you should instead withdraw via Ladok:

If you withdraw or suspend your enrolment early (within three weeks of the course start date), you can apply for the course again at a later date.

If you suspend your enrolment on the course more than three weeks after the course start date, you cannot apply for and be admitted to the course again in another term. In that case, you can only re-enrol and attend the course subject to availability.

Disability Support Services

If you have a long-term disability you can receive targeted educational support. Read more about how it works and how to apply for it here: Disability Support Services for students.

Information about your studies

In Canvas, you’ll find a wealth of information under the ‘Your studies’ section. There, you can read more about the resources available at the faculties and the university as a whole – libraries, international opportunities, academic guidance – and how we work to promote a healthy working environment and equal opportunities at the university.

Welcome back to your studies at the HT faculties. We hope and believe that they will be rewarding and interesting!
