This study examined Vigilantism and Crime Control in Upper Sakponba Area of Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria A sample of 10 Upper Sakponba Area residents were drawn of which five where vigilante members and five were non-vigilantes from the 30,145 total population of the community. Two research questions were raised and answered in this study. A 100% response rate was obtained from the participants.
