Our research work has three main lines 1. To study the heterogeneity of childhood diabetes (focus on the link between type 1 & type 2 diabetes) with the overall aims to increase the knowledge of the pathogenesis behind the disease (dissect the heterogeneisis) and improving classification towards individualized medicine. 2. I språkvetenskap: talspråk, grammatik, korpuslingvistik, pragmatik, kontrastiv lingvistik, kommunikativa färdigheter, textlingvistik, lexikal semantik.[BR] I litteraturvetenskap: renässanspoesi och -dramatik, restaurationstidens poesi och dramatik, 1800-talsromanen, poesi från 1800 till nutid, den litterära modernismen, samtida brittisk, amerikansk, irländsk och kanadensisk litteratur.
Forskningsgruppen jobbar med ämnet geodetisk mätningsteknik. Kompetensen omfattar följande forskningsmetoder: satellit-baserad fjärranalys, satellitgeodesi och InSAR, maskininlärning för jordobservationer, geodetiska positionerings- och kartläggningstekniker och ändringsdetektering och utveckling av tidsseriealgoritmer.The research group deals with the subject of geodetic surveying technology. The research topics include: satellite remote sensing, satellite geodesy and InSAR, Machine Learning for Earth Observations, geodetic positioning and mapping techniques, and change detection and time-series algorithm development.
Avdelningen Verksamhetsstöd består av Närstöd som erbjuder snabb hjälp med IT-relaterade frågor och hanterar arbetsplatsutrustning som datorer, skrivare och telefoner för en stor del av universitetets medarbetare. Inom avdelningen finns också Programförmedlingen som sköter programvaror och licenser, tecknar avtal och deltar i gemensamma IT-upphandlingar inom Lunds universitet.
Ekonomisk demografi handlar om grundläggande händelser i människors liv såsom födelse och död, äktenskap och skilsmässa, migration och social rörlighet, och mer specifikt om hur demografiska processer formas av socioekonomiska faktorer på individ-, familje- och samhällsnivå.Economic demography deals with the essence of human life: birth and death, marriage and divorce, migration and social mobility, and specifically how demographic processes are shaped by socioeconomic factors at the individual, family and societal level.
Forskargruppen fokuserar på diagnostik av svåra infektioner utifrån fynd av mikroorganismer, med både laboratoriemetoder samt data från journalsystem och register. Arbetet berör områden bland annat infektioner med aerokocker, streptokocker, stafylokocker och andra bakterier (huvudsakligen grampositiva), samt diagnostik och prognos vid bakteriemi och kardiovaskulära infektioner.The research group focuses on the diagnosis of severe infections based on findings of microorganisms, using both laboratory methods and data from medical records and registries. The work covers areas such as infections with aerococci, streptococci, staphylococci, and other bacteria (mainly Gram-positive), as well as diagnosis and prognosis in bacteremia and cardiovascular infections.
Vi arbetar med forskning och utbildning om interaktioner och processer i akvatiska system längs hela salthaltsgradienten, från små bäckar, dammar och sjöar till kustnära och pelagiska system i haven. Vi forskar på en mängd olika organisatoriska nivåer, från molekyler till organismer och från individuella beteenden till ekosystemprocesser.We work with research and education on interactions and processes in aquatic systems along the entire salinity gradient, from small streams, ponds and lakes to near-shore and pelagic systems in the oceans. We conduct research at a multitude of organizational levels, from molecules to organisms and from individual behaviours to ecosystem processes.
