Det nordiska forskningsprojektet NORDHARM har beviljats anslag för forskning kring att förbättra stöd till äldre med omsorgsbehov och alkohol- och drogproblem. Medicinska fakulteten bevarar idag den så kallade Bromanska samlingen vid Arkivcentrum Syd. Samlingen är en rest från medicinsk forskning som skedde under 1920–50-talen och består av konserverade foster och fullgångna spädbarn.
