Course
Course 15 credits • ARKN25
Do you want to create digital models of archaeological sites and watch history come alive in 3D? In this course, you use modern technology to document, analyse, and visualise historical environments – in a way that brings the past to life.
In this course, you will learn how to use 3D technology to document and interpret archaeological remains. You will test methods such as photogrammetry, structure from motion and laser scanning to create detailed 3D models of real sites. You will collect images and measurement data, process the material and build models step by step. You will also examine how different techniques affect the result and learn how to present the models in a clear manner.
The course is suitable for you who want to work practically with archaeology and digital documentation.
