I am a researcher specialised in Classical and Landscape Archaeology and computing appplications in Archaeology. After completing my degree in History at the University of Seville (Spain), I studied a specialisation (MSc) in spatial technologies in Archaeology at the University of Southampton (United Kingdom), which laid the foundations for my doctoral research on the romanisation of Baetica from the perspective of territories and landscapes at the Pablo de Olavide University (Spain). I have worked in several national and international projects at the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville (Villas romanas de la Bética Project) and the University of Southampton (Portus Project, PortusLimen Project), and completed my postdoctoral research on the port system of Imperial Rome at the British School at Rome (Italy). Currently, I am the lead researcher of the project Beyond ports: Movement and connectivity in the Roman Mediterranean, funded by Vetenskapsrådet.
